Marketing Minute Monday: A quick reality check.

Is it just me, or is the internet starting to feel a little... hollow?
My inbox is currently a graveyard of "personalized" outreach that feels about as personal as a plastic grocery bag. We’re all being chased by bots, summarized by algorithms, and sold to by digital avatars.
By 10:00 AM, I’m usually ready to close my laptop and go find a real person to talk to.
So, for this Monday, let’s skip the "strategy" and the "pipelines”. We don’t want to be another "Brand" shouting at you today. We just want to be a resource.
Real humans, not just a help desk
When people ask what we actually do here, the answer usually involves a process or a service. But the stuff I’m actually proud of? It’s the stuff that doesn't show up on an invoice.
It’s about showing up when things get messy and staying there until they’re right, because we care more about the person on the other end than the contract on the desk. It’s telling a client, "Actually, you don't need this yet. Save your money." It’s being a human being first and a business second. Because at the end of the day, we’re here for you, period.
In 2026, that feels like a radical move, but it shouldn't be.
Your challenge for this week
If you’re running a team or a business, try spending this week doing things that have no immediate payoff.
Don't just do it once, make it the theme for your next few days:
Send a helpful link to a client without a request attached to it.
Introduce two people in your network who should know each other... just because.
Give away a piece of advice you may gatekeep for a higher priced client.
Everything is tracked and dehumanized these days. Be the person who does something that isn't. It’s the only way to cut through the noise anymore.
